Payment Terms
We make life a little less painful by asking for payments in three installments. Your 15% deposit is due upon booking, followed by 35% of the total cost due 30 days after booking, and the remaining 50% due 60 days before your trip. Bookings made between 90 and 60 days before the start date of the experience, 50% of the total cost of the experience must be paid upon booking. Bookings made between 60 days and 30 days before the start date of the experience, 100% of the total cost of the experience must be paid upon booking.
Refunds, Transfers and Cancellations
Should you decide to cancel your booking within the first 48 hours, we can refund payments made by you. Unfortunately, should you cancel your booking after 48 hours, NO PART of your payments can be refunded – so keep this in mind when making a booking (i.e. ensure that your whole crew is able/willing to pay so that you don’t make a payment before your friends and find you are out of pocket). If you change or cancel your booking you will not get a refund or credit to use for a future activity. This policy will apply regardless of COVID-19, subject to any local consumer laws. You may transfer your reservation to another customer; the financial value of your reservation or payments is NOT transferable.
No Chargebacks
You agree and understand that the charges on a credit card are irrevocable, undisputable, indisputable and may not be charged back, contested or challenged now or in the future. Doing so is a material breach of this agreement for which Soca Islands would be entitled to attorney fees, costs and fees associated with addressing a chargeback in addition to the amount challenged. Should you not pay the amount submitted by Soca Islands for the cost of the chargeback within 30 days after Soca Islands has submitted its amount of cost due to you contesting a charge, the charges will be turned over to a collection agency. Soca Islands shall have at its sole disposal any other legal remedy it independently chooses to pursue any collection against you for the cost of the chargeback. You further agree that proof of purchase by Soca Islands is all that is necessary to establish to the credit card agency or banking institution to deny a chargeback to you.

What should my Travel Insurance policy cover?
At Soca Islands, we understand the importance of flexibility and protection when planning your travels. We strongly recommend travelers purchase a comprehensive travel insurance plan that covers cancellations for any reason (CFAR). This will allow you to travel with confidence, knowing that your journey is safeguarded against unexpected challenges. Please note that most insurance providers require that you purchase the appropriate insurance within 20 days of making your initial trip deposit.
Here’s what your comprehensive travel insurance should cover:
- Trip Cancellation: Your insurance policy should include Cancellations For Any Reason benefits, which allows you to cancel your trip and receive reimbursement for your prepaid expenses. Some scenarios that can be covered by Cancel For Any Reason benefits, but not standard Trip Cancellation benefits:
- Worry or fear over travel because of COVID-19 or other safety concerns
- You change your mind about going on the trip completely and would rather stay home
- Unexpected family situation
- Moving or starting a new job the week you were supposed to travel
- Getting called up for Military training or deployment
- You and your traveling companion no longer want to travel together
- Trip Interruption: In case your trip gets interrupted due to unforeseen circumstances, such as a medical emergency, your insurance plan should ensure that you are reimbursed for the unused portion of your trip.
- Emergency Medical Expenses: Your insurance policy should provide coverage for medical emergencies that may arise while you are traveling. This includes hospitalization, doctor’s visits, prescription medications, and medical evacuation if necessary.
- Travel Delay: If your travel plans are delayed due to reasons beyond your control, such as bad weather, your insurance should cover additional expenses like accommodation and meals during the delay.
- Baggage Loss or Delay: In the unfortunate event that your baggage is lost, stolen, or delayed during your trip, your travel insurance should offer compensation for the replacement of essential items and clothing.
- Emergency Assistance: Your insurance provider should offer 24/7 emergency assistance services to help you navigate challenging situations while traveling, including medical referrals, legal assistance, and coordination of emergency evacuation.
- Travel Accidents: Your insurance plan should provide coverage in the event of accidents during your trip.
- Trip Termination: If you are forced to terminate your trip due to an unexpected event, your insurance policy will help you recover the non-refundable portion of your trip costs.
